New column day

Following up on this morning's roundup, I comment here on how the NDP's group of leadership candidates includes loads of possibilities to take up Jack Layton's mantle of negotiation and cooperation.

As a brief bit of further reading, it was Dan Gardner who asked whether Stephen Harper had ever engaged in serious negotiations with parties outside his government. And it doesn't look like anybody had a single example to suggest.

Finally, for anybody interested in finding out more about the NDP's leadership candidates, the candidates' sites are accessible through my reference page among other sources.

  1. Harper is an arrogant dictator, and a Reformer. He governs Canada, on his Northern Foundation Pary lines, from back in 1989.  They said, the skinheads assisted Harper, to organize his shady Party. This has been Harper's dream, to completely destroy Canada's Democracy. We pretty much live in a dictatorship regime now. Canada has been sliding backwards, since Harper's majority. There have been no jobs for Canada, for six months now. Harper has made so many enimies, no-one wants to deal with him anymore. He even lost Canada's seat in the U.N.  In Durban at the meeting of the Nations for climate change...Harper had the gall, to bully country's to accept the dirty tar sands oil. Duh!!!  At a climate change meeting???

A news article in Australia said, how badly Harper is destroying Democracy in Canada. Our Civil rights and Liberties, have been taken away from us. Harper has destroyed, this country's, once good name. We are no longer, proud to be Canadian. Harper has fouled everything he has touched.

Harper does not negotiate, he dictates and bullies. He has hissy fits, when he doesn't get his own way. He is known for that all over the world.

We have kept in touch with a family in Holland.  My brother met them, when he was in the liberation of Holland, during WW11.  They are so saddened, by what is being done to their beloved Canada. They despise dictatorship, for very good reason.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo has given Harper a summons, for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Harper should also be tried for, crimes against humanity for his terrible negligence of the F.N. people, all across this country.

The NDP have taken far too long, to elect another leader..  Harper will totally destroy this country now. There will be no Canada left, by the time the NDP finally get it together. Harper has had his majority, for only 9 months. This Nation is in a lot of trouble, because of Harper. he is the worst P.M. in the recorded history of this country.
